How Thermal Bags Keep Temperature Stable

Our thermal bags use a three-layer structure: nonwoven outer shell, aluminum foil insulation in the middle, and a BOPP film inner lining. The aluminum foil reflects radiant heat and blocks external temperature transfer, while the nonwoven outer layer adds durability and printability. This combination keeps hot food warm and cold items chilled during short to medium distance transport. For orders requiring extended insulation performance, we can add thicker foam or pearl cotton padding between layers.

Printing & Branding on Thermal Bags

We use gravure lamination printing with up to 7 colors on thermal bags, which gives you photo-level image quality on the bag surface. The printed film is laminated onto the nonwoven outer layer, so the graphics are waterproof, scratch-resistant, and will not fade with regular use. If you already have design files, our team checks and adjusts them for print-ready output at no extra cost. For simple logo printing, screen printing is also available at a lower cost.

FAQs

What is the MOQ for custom printed thermal bags?

MOQ varies depending on the bag size, structure, and printing method. For gravure lamination printing, MOQ is typically higher because a print cylinder needs to be made for your design. For screen-printed thermal bags with simpler graphics, the MOQ can be lower. Contact us with your project details and we will give you an exact number. We also accept small trial orders for new customers who want to test quality before committing to a larger run.

Everything About Insulated Nonwoven Packaging

Nonwoven vs. Woven Insulated Bags: Material Differences

Nonwoven thermal bags are made from PP spunbond fabric, which is lighter and more cost-effective than woven alternatives. Woven bags offer higher tensile strength but come at a higher price and longer production cycle. For most food delivery and promotional use cases, nonwoven thermal bags provide the best balance of insulation, print quality, and unit cost. Woven options make more sense for heavy-duty or long-term reusable cooler bags where maximum durability is the priority.

Insulated Packaging for Food Delivery: Industry Requirements

Food delivery platforms and restaurant chains typically require thermal bags that maintain temperature for at least 30–45 minutes during transit. The bag also needs to be easy to clean, able to stand upright when loaded, and carry branding that represents the business. Our multi-layer aluminum foil structure meets these requirements, and the laminated nonwoven surface is easy to wipe down between deliveries.
